Rick Lazio

Rick Lazio is an Advisor to Baleon Capital and is a tax policy expert and political analyst with deep relationships across many industries including Healthcare and FinTech.

Rick is the Senior VP and Tax Policy Expert at alliantgroup, the leading tax consulting firm specializing in qualifying small and mid-market businesses for state and federal tax credits, incentives and deductions.

Rick served in the United States House of Representatives for four terms. As a congressman, he was an active legislator and served as a senior member of the Financial Services Committee and the Energy and Commerce Committee, and is the author and sponsor of several financial services, disability, healthcare and housing bills that were signed into law.

Rick’s work extended to the media as a CNN political analyst during the 2016 presidential election. He is also the author of numerous opinion pieces published in leading online news sites and newspapers.

Rick received his BA in Economics, Political Science, and History from Vassar College, and later his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
