Alan Weinstein

Alan Weinstein is a member of Baleon Capital’s Healthcare Optimization Team which assists with pipeline opportunity review, go-to-market strategies, and growth initiatives with respect to Baleon’s portfolio companies.

Alan is the Founder and former Chief Executive of Premier Health Alliance, the largest Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) for the Healthcare Industry, which he ran between 1983 and 2000.

During Alan’s 50-year career in healthcare, he has focused on developing startup businesses providing services to hospitals through shared programs intended to achieve greater economies of scale. For the last 20 years, Alan has continued to be involved in healthcare primarily as an advisor or board member of healthcare companies that sell goods, services, and technologies to healthcare providers, primarily hospitals.

Alan received his BA from Allegheny College and MBA in Health Administration from Cornell University. Alan also served in the United States Military within the Division of Indian Health between 1966 and 1968.
